When its cold outside, it may take a few extra minutes to warm up in addition to the time you already have planned. Do some jumping jacks, lunges, a few pushups and if it isnt wet, work your abs a little. For a fast warm up, do everybody’s favorite, the “Burpie”.
Burpie: Start in the standing position. Bend your knees and reach for the ground. Put all your weight on your hands as you jump your feet out from under you. You should now be in the pushup position. Perform a regular pushup, jump your feet to your hands, then jump as high as you can. That’s one. Repeat this a few times and you will be sufficiently warmed up!
