Why I left IMG Academy

All good things come to an end.

I spent two years at IMG Academy as the Head of Leadership development and it was an unbelievable experience. The students, the coaches, the teachers, and the administrators are high caliber individuals who expect excellence from all student-athletes.

The bad news...

I left IMGA because I am moving to Dallas to be closer to my father. He recently had a stroke. He is doing okay now, but I felt like it was best that Iam there with him during this time in his life. My former boss and the supporting staff did a wonderful job covering for me while I was back and forth from Dallas to Florida, but after a while, it became too much.

The good news!

I have started my own business called Unleash the Athlete. UTA is a mental conditioning and leadership development company for athletes and coaches in high school and college. I use interactive activities, team building exercises, and research-based lecture to build mental skills and develop leadership qualities.

Let's work together.

If you are a coach or athlete looking for someone to come in and share some of the things I have learned over the years concerning teamwork, communication, leadership development and creating culture, give me a call at (559) 287-8748 and let's get to work. Whether it is a workshop for a few hours, a weekend event, or a keynote, I would love to work with you and your team.
